Make Forever QR Codes Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 12, 2026
In short: Make Forever QR Codes doesn't collect any data. Everything happens on your device: no account, no ads, no analytics and no internet connection.
What we collect
Nothing. Make Forever QR Codes has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The developer never receives any of your information.
What the app uses
- Camera: only to scan QR codes, and only while you're on the Scan screen. Nothing the camera sees is saved or sent.
- Photos: only to save a QR code picture to your photo library when you tap Save. The app can't see your other photos. You can also pick a photo to scan; only that one photo is read.
- Contacts: when you tap Fill from my contact card, you pick one contact and the app only sees that one. The app never reads your whole address book.
- Contacts and Calendar (adding): after you scan a contact or an event, you can add it to Contacts or Calendar. Apple's own screen opens, and nothing is added unless you tap to save it.
- Apple Watch: when you send a code to your watch, it goes straight from your iPhone to your watch, without iCloud or the internet.
What stays on your device
- Your saved codes, including any Wi-Fi passwords inside them, are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. They are protected by your device's encryption whenever it's locked.
- Codes you send to your Apple Watch stay on your watch.
- Deleting the app deletes all of this data.
Links in codes
- When a code you scan contains a website, the app shows it to you first. If you choose to open it, it opens in your web browser, and that website's own privacy policy applies.
Children
Make Forever QR Codes doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Sharing
Because no information is collected, nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
